Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Report: (Week 13)

Welcome to the fantasy football weekly waiver wire update. Each week we will highlight the players you should target each week on the waiver wire as the season progresses. Executing proper claims each week can be vital to the success of your team and we will attempt to help you identify these moves each and every Tuesday of the regular season.

For a lot of leagues, this is the final week of the regular season, with some not starting fantasy playoffs until Week 15. That leaves owners with very little time to make the final push for the playoffs, so waiver wire pickups are still crucial. Let's look at some of the top options available heading into Week 13.

Quarterbacks

Tyrod Taylor (BUF): vs. NE/vs. IND/vs. MIA

Taylor should hang on to his job for at least another week after getting a win in Week 12, and his schedule couldn't be much better heading into the fantasy playoffs.

Josh McCown (NYJ): vs. KC/@ DEN/@ NO

McCown was great against the Panthers in Week 12 and he draws a plus matchup this week at home against the Chiefs. He continues to be a serviceable option and outside of a tough Week 14 matchup at Denver, he has a decent schedule over the next few weeks.

Brett Hundley (GB): vs. TB/@ CLE/@ CAR

I still think the jury is out on Hundley, but there's no denying the juicy matchups on deck over the next two weeks. You could certainly do worse, just know that he does have a relatively low floor.

Running Backs

Rex Burkhead (NE): @ BUF/@ MIA/@ PIT

The Patriots' backfield is always tough to trust, but Burkhead has been relatively steady when healthy. He's got more value in PPR formats and is worth a decent-sized bid this week.

Danny Woodhead (BAL): vs. DET/@ PIT/@ CLE

Woodhead is more of a priority in PPR leagues, and with him being very active in the passing game in Week 12, he should hold nice value moving forward.

Jamaal Williams (GB): vs. TB/@ CLE/@ CAR

Williams isn't wowing anyone with a 3.2 YPC, but the volume is all his right now and that's tough to ignore. Toss in some plus matchups over the next couple of weeks and you have a very solid back heading into the fantasy playoffs.

Wide Receivers

Corey Coleman (CLE): @ LAC/vs. GB/vs. BAL

Coleman was held to just three catches last week, but the yardage and targets were very encouraging. The return of Josh Gordon should only help as it should hopefully draw some attention away from Coleman.

Josh Doctson (WAS): @ DAL/@ LAC/vs. ARI

Doctson scored again on Thanksgiving Day and he continues to be a high upside proposition for those with deeper rosters. With Terrelle Pryor on IR, he should continue to draw looks on the outside.

Zay Jones (BUF): vs. NE/vs. IND/vs. MIA

Jones finally looks like he knows where he is, and with a great schedule the rest of the way, he's worth grabbing now. Even with Kelvin Benjamin possibly returning, Jones should see plenty of looks moving forward.

Tight Ends

Charles Clay (BUF): vs. NE/vs. IND/vs. MIA

As I've noted a few times, the schedule really loosens up for the Bills, so grab Clay while his value is low as he should round into form soon. He logged 60 yards on four catches last week, and this proves that he is slowly coming back into his own.

Ricky Seals-Jones (ARI): vs. LAR/vs. TEN/@ WAS

Once a highly touted receiver out of Texas A&M, Seals-Jones has struggled to find his way in the NFL. That has all changed over the last two weeks, as he's hauled in three touchdowns with 11 targets and 126 yards. His snap count remains low, but Blaine Gabbert has given him plenty of volume over the last two weeks.
